Meeting you and your needs is an essential part of our ministry. We want to develop a relationship with you! We want to effectively encourage you when your tank runs low or is on empty. Look at helpful resources Pastor to Pastor, Pastors Weekly Briefing and African American Outreach.

Reaching the African American Pastor

The key means of connecting to the African-American community is through the church. That’s why we seek to build relationships with gatekeepers and pastors to understand core concerns and truly engage, partner with and build advocates in the community.

We are building relationships with church gatekeepers (influential church leaders within a city or area) and pastors to better understand core concerns of African American families. We want to be truly engaged by partnering with churches to build stronger communities. Also by coming alongside existing ministries, we learn more about the specific needs and issues facing their church congregations.

Realizing that religion and parenting are important components in transmitting ethnic and Biblical values, it is our vision to intentionally reach out and partner with African –American Pastors, families, churches and communities through sensitive appropriate resources and a presence at pertinent conferences. We are constantly developing relationships with leaders across the country to better prepare them to assist those who pastor ethnic congregations. Through these contacts and our own personal experiences, we understand the unique joys and struggles of these shepherds and their families as they strive to be God’s instruments of hope and love.

Our Pastoral Ministries team travels across North America meeting with pastors and their spouses to give and gain greater insight into the issues faced beyond the pulpit. Topics addressed include ministry trends, challenges that make pastoring difficult, steps to a fulfilling ministry, prioritization of family and ways to avoid moral failure. Regional conferences for pastors’ wives and a national conference for ministry families also provide resources, fellowship, teaching, small-group interaction and personal, one-on-one care.

We are moving forward and are excited about the accomplishments we have made. We have developed relationships with city gatekeepers around the nation. Through conferences and gatherings we have positively influenced thousands of pastors and Christian leaders each year to be encouraged and stay in the ministry.

Finally, we believe God has called us to encourage pastors who are serving the kingdom 24 x 7. They have the potential of greatness in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. By encouraging and supporting clergy we can accomplish much more as a team.
